Professional Bio
Dr. Pearl Chang completed her medical degree at Stanford School of Medicine and her residency at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, followed by a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Oakland. Her research focuses on advancing the evidence-based care of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and infections in young children. Recently, she co-led a national QI collaborative of 150 hospitals through the AAP’s Pediatric Acute and Critical Care Quality Network to implement the 2022 jaundice guidelines. Dr. Chang attends at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the UW Nursery and enjoys teaching and mentoring residents and fellows.
